How to Subscribe Legally (Takes 2 Minutes)
- Open aha.video or install the Aha app (not clones).
- Tap Subscribe → choose Telugu / Tamil / Gold.
- Pay with UPI, card, or Google Pay — GST invoice is emailed instantly.
- On TV: open Aha app → Login → Activate → enter code shown on TV at aha.video/activate.
Tip: Aha often runs ₹99 for first month for new UPI users (check banner at checkout). No coupon needed — it auto-applies.
Why Gold Is Worth It
- Day-1 originals: Telugu originals like Unstoppable with NBK and Tamil Aha Tamil Premieres stream on Gold 24 hours before single-language packs.
- 4K on TV + Dolby Audio — mobile packs cap at 1080p and block TV login.
- Three simultaneous screens vs 1 on mobile — share one Gold ID across family.
If you only watch Telugu and cast to one TV, the ₹399 Telugu Annual is enough.
Device & Download Limits
- Mobile packs: 1 download at a time, 48-hour expiry after start.
- Gold/Annual: 5 downloads, 30-day expiry, works offline on 2 devices.
- TV: Gold and Annual support TV login; Mobile packs show “Upgrade to watch on TV”.
Aha vs Sun NXT vs Prime for Telugu Viewers — Which Covers What?
Aha Gold doesn’t cover everything Telugu. Use this combo math before buying:
| Need | Cheapest Combo | Yearly Cost | Covers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Telugu originals only | Aha Telugu Annual ₹399 | ₹399 | Aha Telugu premieres, no Tamil |
| Telugu + Tamil | Aha Gold ₹699 | ₹699 | Both Aha libraries, 4K, 3 screens — best value |
| Telugu blockbusters (Devara, Salaar) | Aha Gold + Netflix Mobile | ₹699 + ₹1,788 = ₹2,487 | Aha originals + Netflix big-budget Telugu dubs |
| Full Telugu (blockbusters + originals + classics) | Aha Gold + Prime ₹1,499 | ₹2,198 | Covers 90% ranked in Best Telugu Movies on OTT 2026 |
Sun NXT (₹599/year) is Tamil-classic vault, not Telugu competitor — buy Sun NXT only for Rajini/Kamal classics, detailed in Best Tamil OTT Platforms. For overall cheapest stack, see Cheapest OTT Subscription India and bundle tricks in Best OTT Bundle India.
If you watch Pushpa 2 or Kalki in Telugu, you need Netflix/Prime, not Aha — Aha has no rights to those theatrical blockbusters. See Where to Watch Pushpa 2 and Where to Watch Kalki 2898 AD.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Buying Mobile quarterly year-round: ₹199 ×4 = ₹796/year for 1 phone 1080p, no TV. Gold ₹699/year is cheaper + 3 screens + 4K + TV. Only buy Mobile if you need 1 month trial.
- Buying Telugu annual then needing Tamil: Single-language packs lock language. Upgrade to Gold costs prorated difference — cheaper to buy Gold day-1 if you watch even 2 Tamil titles.
- Paying via Play Store: Play Store shows ₹799 for Gold vs ₹699 web. Always pay at aha.video with UPI.
- Expecting Hindi blockbusters: Aha is Telugu + Tamil only. No Hindi, Malayalam or Kannada premieres — pair with Best OTT Platform India 2026 top pick JioHotstar for Hindi.
How We Checked Prices (Methodology)
- Opened aha.video/subscription 6 Sep 2026 in Chrome incognito → screenshot all 6 plans.
- Checked Play Store Aha app → confirmed ₹100 markup vs web.
- Tested TV login with Mobile pack → blocked with Upgrade prompt, Gold → success on Fire TV.
- Checked Airtel Thanks / MyJio → no Aha bundle (unlike ZEE5 and SonyLIV which have Airtel bundles).
- Verified download limits: 5 downloads Gold, 1 Mobile, via in-app Downloads row.
We re-check quarterly because Aha revises pricing every Telugu New Year + Diwali.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which Aha plan is cheapest for 1 year?
Aha Gold at ₹699/year — it includes both Telugu + Tamil. Buying a single language annual costs ₹399 but locks the other language. Mobile quarterly looks cheap (₹199) but renews 4× a year = ₹796/year.
Can I switch Telugu ↔ Tamil after subscribing?
No. Single-language packs are locked. You must wait for renewal or upgrade prorated to Gold (Aha refunds the unused days via Settings → Manage Plan).
Is Aha available on Fire TV and Android TV?
Yes for Gold and Annual plans. Open Store → search Aha → install. Mobile packs cannot log in on TV (HDMI casting from phone also blocked).
How do I cancel auto-renewal?
Web: aha.video → Profile → Subscriptions → Cancel Renewal. Play Store / App Store subscriptions must be cancelled in Google Play / Apple Subscriptions separately.
Does Aha offer a free trial?
No free trial since late 2024. First-time UPI payers often see ₹99 for first month — check checkout before paying full price.
Is Aha Gold enough for all Telugu movies in 2026?
No — Gold covers Aha originals (9/25 top Telugu OTT titles). Blockbusters like Pushpa 2, Devara, Salaar stream on Netflix/Prime, not Aha. Pair Gold with Prime Lite for full coverage — see our Telugu movies ranking for which OTT holds which title.
Never miss a premiere. Add FunTime to your phone — tap Add to Home Screen, search “Aha”, tap the bell. Choose Telugu or Tamil track and get a push when a new Gold premiere drops.
