Prime Lite vs Prime — Which Covers Mirzapur?

Both include Mirzapur S1–S4, difference is ads and TV count:

Plan Price Mirzapur Quality Best For
Prime Lite ₹799/year ₹799 1080p, 1 TV, limited ads Cheapest TV watch, solo
Prime ₹1,499/year ₹1,499 4K HDR, 2 TVs, ad-free + shopping Family, 4K, no ads

Lite shows a short ad before episode 1 only — episode itself is uninterrupted. If you also need Panchayat S4 (same Prime subscription), Prime covers both at no extra cost. Compare with Netflix in Netflix vs Prime Video India and overall ranking in Best OTT Platform India 2026.

Common Mistakes

  1. Searching Store tab not Prime tab: Prime app has two tabs. Store shows Rent ₹99 — switch to Prime (blue tick) for Included.
  2. Expecting exact date: Prime only says October 2026. Don’t trust YouTube 5 Oct thumbnails — set Watchlist bell, not calendar.
  3. Using Mobile-only telecom bundle: JioHotstar Mobile bundles don’t include Prime. You need Prime Lite/Prime or Best OTT Bundle India with Prime Lite.
  4. Kids profile: Mirzapur is A 18+ with PIN lock. Set Prime PIN → Parental Controls before sharing TV.

How We Verified

  1. Prime Video app 6 Sep 2026 → Mirzapur → S4 row Coming Oct 2026, Add to Watchlist present.
  2. S1–S3 rows show Included with Prime, Audio Hindi/Tamil/Telugu.
  3. Excel Entertainment X post 15 Jun 2026 confirms Oct window, 6 episodes.
  4. No Netflix/JioHotstar listing — Prime exclusive until 2031.
  5. Price amazon.in/prime Lite ₹799 / Prime ₹1,499 unchanged.

S1–S3 recap (spoiler-light, to follow S4)

S3 ends with Guddu (Ali Fazal) controlling Purvanchal but Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi) alive in custody, Golu (Shweta Tripathi) holding the ledger that can flip the Tripathi empire. S4 teaser shows Isha Talwar as new SP targeting both camps. Rewatch S3 E9–E10 before S4 — S4 E1 starts 3 months after S3 finale per teaser dialogue. All recaps are Prime included with Hindi + Tamil/Telugu dubs — no need for YouTube recap channels with wrong timelines.
